​News is my passion and heart and I believe good journalism is more important now than ever before. I wake up every morning to NPR's Morning Edition, and watch NBC Nightly News every night with dinner.  If I'm not working on my latest news story, podcast, or article, I'm probably getting dinner with some friends or working out.

 

During my time as a journalist, I've won more than 25 journalism awards, including three WBA awards, a student Emmy, three Hearst Awards and two Pacemakers. 

 

I first worked in South Carolina as a digital content producer and reporter then moved to Wisconsin where I got to continue my reporting while gaining experience as a producer and anchor as well.

My most recent job took me to Kentucky, where I'm a Breaking News Anchor and Investigative Reporter. My contract ends in July 2025.
